This month has been a very busy Women’s Month at Greyvensteins Inc.

In preparation for Women’s Month, we hosted Professor Thuli Madonsela and Clinical Psychologist
Charissa Bloomberg from Hidden Dimensions at our office. We also enjoyed a relaxed boat trip with
Professor Madonsela and her son and showed off our beautiful coast line. The relaxed environment made
for a lovely afternoon with the down to earth and approachable Professor Madonsela.

Our guest speakers for our Property Forums were Willie Els of Standard Bank, Dr Cornelia Garner a
Botanist of NMU and Sibusiso Vilane. Sibusiso engaged us in an inspirational morning as he spoke about
his journey as the first black person having summited Mount Everest. We all go through challenges in our
daily lives, Sibusiso gave us some perspective on the mountains we all have to climb and how we choose
to overcome them.

The Women’s Day public holiday was spent with our families outdoors at Norm-Hudlin Trails with the Just
Property Team at their Family Fun Day. Spending time with the Just Property Team outside our bustling
office and its associated stressors was just what the doctor ordered.

The absolute highlight of Women’s Month was our Women’s Tea featuring our guest speaker, Municipal
Counsellor, Annette Lovemore talking to us about the challenges of women working in a male dominated
environment. This was followed by lovely models that walked the catwalk as part of our fashion show.
Taking the time to appreciate the women that we deal with on a daily basis and showing the nurturing side
of our profession were priceless!
